Udder Cream is excellent as moisturizer for anyone with sensitive skin. It is natural, full of skin repair ingredients, and helps with skin elasticity to keep the skin looking young and reducing lines.

Udder Cream was originally used by dairy farmers to keep udders in good condition, but worked so well as a moisturizer that we bottled it. We made some improvements, we added some skin repair superstars and we made in completely non greasy.

Note for Dairy Farmers: MooGoo is still recommended as an udder cream to keep udders in great shape for twice-daily milking. Udders never felt so good.

Milk Protein for Skin Elasticity

We have finally been able to import hydrolyzed milk protein from Europe to use in our creams. Cognis research found that milk protein in a cream increased skin elasticity by around 20% compared to the same cream without.  Skin elasticity ensures lines and wrinkles are minimized after any movement of the skin.

Cognis research measured the elasticity of skin using a device called a cutometer. This instrument sucks a portion of the skin into a funnel, and then measures the time it takes to return to normal. The quicker the skin returns to normal, the more elastic it is, and the more likely it is to resist forming lines or wrinkles.

Other Ingredients Listed In Full:

Demineralised Water. MooGoo contains a high percentage of pure water. Many of the other ingredients are tools to help carry the moisture into the skin and to keep the moisture on the surface of the skin.

Allantoin (Comfrey Root). Allantoin has been termed a cell proliferant in texts such as the "United States Dispensatory". It is said to clean away dead tissue, hastening the growth of new healthy tissue. Allantoin has been also termed a counter irritant. Allantoin produces its desirable effects by promoting and speeding up the healthy, natural processes of the body. It helps the skin to help itself. It is also promoted as preventing lines and wrinkles by assisting skin repair.

Emollient: Derived from palm oil and assists the water and oils to combine to make a cream.

Freshness. To keep natural products pure and fresh, and to prevent infection, some ingredients are needed to prevent bacteria and mold. Because of Australia's warm climate, it is especially important to use ingredients that work and are as natural as possible. We use a blend of Phenoxyethanol, Vitamin E and Sorbic Acid.

We believe one of the most dangerous ingredients in natural skin care is Grapefruit Seed Extract. This is because there are no peer reviewed studies showing it is effective in preventing bacterial contamination. Products that use Grapefruit Seed Extract as a preservative risk becoming bacterial soup that can cause infection. When Grapefruit Seed Extract is used in a product, it shows a lack of understanding of the importance of keeping products free from bacteria. Essential Oils are also poor preservers as such a high concentration is required that they become irritating to the skin.

Our products have been tested by an independent laboratory to ensure they remain pure and fresh. Testing is done assuming the products are kept below 30 degrees Celsius. Natural skin care products generally should not be left in hot places like a car in summer.

MooGoo Udder Cream - Traditional		QTY:
The original lotion. "Skin Milk" is a lighter moisturizing lotion. It easily penetrates the skin with healing ingredients and without an oil film on the surface of the skin. It comes in a 120ml flexible tube.

MooGoo Udder Cream - Full Cream		QTY:
This is a "creamier" version of the original Udder Cream. We have added a couple of ingredients that might spoil the cows. This includes unprocessed honey for skin repair and as an antibacterial. We have a blend of almond and olive oils for their combined moisturizing properties without greasiness. The pH is balanced to the skin through the use of apple cider vinegar. Naturally, the apple and honey give the cream a wonderful fragrance and there is no need for us to add any other fragrance. The Full Cream Udder Cream is packaged in a larger 250ml container so it sits nicely on the bathroom counter and lasts. If you shave or know of someone who shaves, invite them to try this as a shaving cream. If you can't decide, try both.

Moogoo Udder Cream MSM		QTY:
This cream is made using the moisturizing base of our Full Cream with the addition 10% MSM (Organic Sulfur). This is the maximum amount of MSM we could add to the cream. Just mention MSM and watch the Naturopaths go nuts about its skin calming and healing properties. A quick Google search under "MSM Calming" or even "MSM Miracle" will show some of the properties that MSM is believed to impart to skin and general health. Creams containing cortisone or other drugs are effective but the side effects are very significant, especially for children. We were looking for a natural and safe cream that soothed the skin. MSM was the Naturopathic answer. It is ideal for children and adults who are looking for a calming cream without drugs.The cream is also fully loaded with other natural skin healing ingredients. These include Allantoin (Comfrey Root Active), Vitamin E, Aloe Vera and Honey. MSM is an expensive raw ingredient. Pure MSM from a health store is around $140/kg. Naturally a cream containing 10% MSM is usually very expensive. Because we supply direct, our 10% MSM cream is much more affordable than any other on the market. If you know anyone with problem skin, we suggest they try this natural moisturizer loaded with MSM. We hate to say "Miracle Cream" but....
