Product Description
Oil Cleansing Method -Oily Skin 110gThis version has the highest percentage of drawing oils.
Directions: The Oil Cleanser can be used in two ways:
For everyday washing, massage some oil onto the face while showering or washing. Allow a minute for the oils to work into the pores. Rinse off with water. No other cleanser should be required. Apply a moisturiser afterward as normal. Note: A toner should not be required as there is some astringent effect with the oils.
For deep cleansing to help clear problem skin, massage the oil onto the face. Apply a warm wash cloth over the face to steam open the pores and allow the cleansing oils to sterilize the pores. Wash off with cold water and apply a moisturiser as normal.
Jojoba Oil |
Jojoba Oil is one of the most moisturising skin care oils around and is one of our all time favourite moisturising oils. It is light and sinks into the skin easily. Curiously, Jojoba Oil is actually a liquid wax. It is also very non comedogenic meaning that it does not clog the pores. |
Rice Bran Oil |
Used to soften and condition the skin. Rich in anti-oxidants and a skin protectant, rich in gamma-oryzanol, which helps protect and replenish your skin. Rice Bran oil can be an effective substitute for lanolin, and can help reduce inflammation and soothe discomfort. It's a wonderful oil for itchy "alligator" skin. |
Grapeseed Oil |
Grape Seed Oil is another light oil and is excellent for moisturizing the skin. Grape seed oil is is very high in antioxidants and contains high amounts of vitamin E, vitamin C, Beta-Carotene, and vitamin D |
Castor Oil |
The triglyceride fatty acids present in Castor oil helps the skin to restore the natural moisture balance, thus preventing dryness. Castor oil for skin is extremely beneficial when used in winter as it prevents the skin from drying up. It is also common in home Acne Remedies. We find other oils tend to dissolve into castor oil which gives the Oil Cleansing Method its cleansing properties, and is especially good with oil based makeup, mascara and sunscreens that use penetration enhancers. |
Avocado Oil |
This oil is a very thick and extremely deep penetrating oil. rich in vitamins A, D and E, lecithin, as well as potassium - known as the youth mineral. |
Vitamin E |
We use natural Vitamin E which is a mix of both Alpha and Gamma Tocopherol. This is important as many products use only Alpha Tocopherol Vitamin E, while it is Gamma Tocopherol that is is considered the best anti-oxidant for skin. Vitamin E functions on the skin to protect cells against free-radical damage, and an abundant assortment of researchers from diversified medical fields have theorized that this can slow the aging process. WOW! How amazing is your Oil Cleanser! I was very apprehensive about using an oil to 'cleanse' my skin since it was already very oily but what a difference it has made. My skin tone use to be very blotchy and red with the odd breakout but now it is so even and soft that for the first time ever I don't feel like I have to wear foundation. I wish I had discovered this years ago. Bravo Moo Goo team! I am now trying to track down some more for my mum back in NZ.....and of course for my own personal stash! Thanks guys, you rock

I work for a well known women's health and beauty magazine so I am fortunate enough to have access to some amazing skin care products. Recently though, I have been suffering from breakouts of acne and clogged skin and despite trying a number of 'acne' cleansers and products nothing seemed to work.
More often then not I found these products harsh and drying.
That was until my mum (mum's always seem to know best) caught wind of your products and gave me some of your oil cleanser to try. I will admit that at first using an oil to wash my face felt very foreign and I was concerned it would cause further breakouts. But to my surprise your cleanser has worked wonders on my skin - the acne is all but gone and my skin feels hydrated and healthy!! I am so impressed with the oil cleanser and I have now purchased your udder cream as well. Not only do your products work but they're also very affordable - especially considering the price of some skin care brands these days. Whenever anyone compliments me on my skin these days I'm always quick to give you guys the credit.
